  • Cargo, vessel, shipment or project information you choose to provide, including uploaded documents.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and general usage data.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to enquiries and provide our ship brokerage services.
  • To circulate cargo or vessel information when you ask us to, including our cargo circulation list.
  • To keep proper records and comply with legal requirements.

3. Cargo Circulation List

If you tick "Add me to your cargo circulation list", we send you cargo or position circulars by email. Every circular includes a way to unsubscribe.

4. AI Assistants

Conversations with the AI Chartering Desk are recorded so a broker can review and follow them up. Nothing an AI assistant generates is a binding offer, quotation or fixture unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may be shared with trusted IT or compliance providers when necessary, with counterparties when you ask us to circulate a cargo or vessel, and with authorities where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to all@marcenta.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
